LEAF (Lansing Educational Advancement Foundation) raises money for students and educators of the Lansing School District. Established in 1984, LEAF serves the district as a 501(c)(3) foundation and has made some remarkable things happen in our educational community.

What does LEAF do?
LEAF raises money (more than $1.92 million since 1984) and distributes these funds (more than $1,012,000 to date) to classroom teachers and students. Our senior scholarship program is reaching a record funding leve
l this June with more than $34,000 awarded to district students Three new scholarships have been recently endowed: Eva Evans Performing and Visual Arts Scholarship, E. Sharon Banks Educator Scholarship, and the Joan Weaver Arts Scholarship.

Our mission is to enrich the educational experience for all Lansing public school students and educators through program support and curriculum enhancement.
